DREAM STITCHES is a community-based sewing program which aims to teach migrant and refugee women sewing skills 
while enabling them to develop friendships in their new country.

The program is sponsored by The Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, in partnership with the Anglican Parish of Box Hill, Victoria and Anglicare Victoria.

Our Aims
      • To encourage a high standard of home dressmaking
      • To motivate the development of creativity and ideas to supplement student income
      • To provide an environment for students to recognize and accept quality work standards in a friendly and accepting atmosphere
      • To experience friendship and fun with women of different cultures
      • To promote personal growth, confidence and high self-esteem
      • To encourage independence, responsibility and regular attendance
The group meets every Friday morning of the school term.
